Con éxito se realizó Cabildo Regional de Seguridad Ciudadana en Panguipulli
El encuentro, que se realizó en el Polideportivo de Panguipulli, buscó recoger necesidades, preocupaciones y propuestas para fortalecer las políticas públicas que el Gobierno Regional se encuentra impulsando en materia de seguridad.
En la comuna de Panguipulli se efectuó un tercer cabildo de seguridad ciudadana, encuentros impulsados por el Gobierno Regional de Los Ríos y su Consejo Regional, que ya se han realizado previamente en las comunas de Valdivia y La Unión, con el objeto de hacer un levantamiento de antecedentes sobre la seguridad vista desde los dirigentes sociales y autoridades, mediante un proceso participativo, que tiene por objetivo fortalecer las políticas públicas que el Gobierno Regional se encuentra impulsando en materia de seguridad.
La iniciativa fue ejecutada por el Municipio de Panguipulli y contó con un financiamiento de $10 millones aprobados por el Consejo Regional, los que permitió propiciar este espacio de diálogo, donde la ciudadanía tuvo la posibilidad de expresar sus ideas, a través de una metodología participativa y expositiva, para posteriormente consolidarlas y entregarlas para que sean consideradas en futuras políticas públicas.
El alcalde Pedro Burgos Vásquez, en representación de la Municipalidad de Panguipulli, destacó la organización de este importante evento regional y agradeció el trabajo realizado por todo el equipo de Seguridad Pública, el Departamento de Gestión de Riesgo de Desastres y el Departamento de Seguridad Ciudadana, que ha sido destacado a nivel regional.
